FAQ
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. QuickImage runs entirely in your browser using Canvas and createImageBitmap. Files never leave your device.
Which formats can I convert?
Input: WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG and JPEG. Output: lossless PNG or JPG with 70–95% quality.
How does Remove BG work?
PNG + Remove BG runs an on-device AI cut-out so the subject stays and the background becomes transparent. The first run loads a local model. JPEG cannot store alpha — use White to flatten instead.
How many files can I convert at once?
The queue is built for 100+ files, with a hard safety cap of 250. A single file downloads directly; batches are packed into a ZIP.
Does AVIF work in every browser?
Decoding depends on the browser. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari versions support AVIF. Unsupported files are flagged in the queue without stopping the rest of the batch.
